Bravo Concealment 1911 4.25-5 in Right-Hand IWB Holster

The Bravo Concealment Torsion 1911 IWB Holster (BC20-1023) is a right-hand inside-the-waistband holster molded for 1911 pistols with 4.25 to 5 inch barrels, with or without a rail. That covers Commander-size and full Government-size 1911s, the two lengths most people carry. A 1911 is usually carried cocked and locked, so full trigger guard coverage and a holster that keeps the thumb safety from being bumped are a must. The steel frame is heavy, which makes a holster that pulls the gun close to the body even more valuable.

Torsion is Bravo's patented design, which rotates the pistol about 10 degrees inward so the grip tilts toward your body. On a long 1911 grip, that rotation is what keeps the butt from pushing out against your shirt. Bravo builds each mold from a 3-D scan of the actual pistol and holds the fit to about three thousandths of an inch, so the gun clicks in audibly and does not rattle. The injection-molded shell stays open after the draw, so you can reholster with one hand.

Retention is set with a single screw at the trigger guard, which matters on a heavy all-steel gun. Two molded belt clips hold the holster in place, and several mounting holes let you change ride height and carry angle. If you remove the smaller clip, the holster can be worn with a shirt tucked over it. A 1911 rides well behind the hip at 4 o'clock, and a stiff gun belt keeps the weight from sagging. The BCA OWB 1911 holster and more are in our gun holsters.
