The Black Oak 2 in Black Flush Mount Flood Pod Light is a compact Pro Series 3.0 fixture for bumpers, reverse-light positions, work bodies, headache racks, and other locations where a protruding bracket is undesirable. The flush-mount design lets the face of the light sit close to the surrounding panel while still providing a broad flood pattern. Black Oak lists ATVs, RZRs, Jeeps, trucks, and work-light applications among the common uses. Its small footprint makes it useful where a larger bar would be difficult to fit cleanly.

The housing receives 360-degree ceramic protection against ultraviolet exposure, salt water, and corrosion. A two-stage Hydrex seal system supports full submersion, and the Dynamax housing is designed as a reinforced frame. The flood optic spreads the light across the nearby work area rather than concentrating it into a narrow long-distance beam. The Pro Series 3.0 platform also uses Black Oak’s updated LED technology.

The pod is rated at 40W, draws 2.8A, and uses four LEDs. Black Oak lists a weight of about 1.6 lb and dimensions of approximately 4-7/8 in by 3-5/8 in. The light is covered by a lifetime warranty. The panel opening and mounting location should be planned carefully because a flush fixture requires more attention to cutout and rear clearance than a surface-mounted pod.
