Bennett 18 x 12 Standard Trim Plane Assembly

The Bennett 18 x 12 Standard Trim Plane Assembly uses a deeper rectangular plane than the 24 x 9 version, giving a different footprint for compatible Bennett trim-tab systems. The assembly is built from rigid 304 stainless steel to maintain its shape as water pressure acts on the tab.

When paired with the correct actuator and controls, the plane can provide stern lift used to reduce bow rise, balance uneven loading, and fine-tune the boat’s running attitude. Plane size should be matched to the hull and existing hardware rather than selected on dimensions alone.

The package contains one trim plane with its backing plate and hinge. Because it is not a full trim-tab kit, verify the actuator, helm controls, wiring or hydraulic components, and the matching plane for the other side before beginning the installation.
