The Benchmark Paratrooper has a 3.5-inch double edge dagger blade and a stainless handle that closes around it completely, with a glass breaker at the butt and a pocket clip, at 4.75 inches closed.
Enclosing the blade in the handle rather than laying it against a liner means nothing sharp is exposed when the knife is shut, which matters on a double edge where both sides are sharpened. A double edge suits piercing but rules out placing a thumb on the spine for pressure, so this is a defensive shape rather than a utility one.
