Atwood Rope MFG 300ft Black Nano Cord Spool

The Atwood Nano Cord is a 300 foot spool of braided nylon cord measuring 0.75mm thick, in black. The spool format keeps a useful length of cord together so users can cut only what they need for each project or repair. Compact utility cord is useful for lashing, organization, gear repair, tying, and other light-duty tasks where full-size rope would be excessive.

At 0.75mm this is far thinner than paracord, closer to heavy thread than rope, and that is what it is for. Gear ties, zipper pulls, lashing small items and repairs where 550 cord is absurdly oversized. Three hundred feet of it takes almost no room, so a spool lives in a pack indefinitely rather than being rationed.

Braided rather than twisted construction means it holds a knot without unlaying, and nylon resists rot and stretches slightly under load rather than snapping. It is the cord to reach for when paracord is too bulky to tie neatly, which is more often than most people expect. For routine gear work, having a dedicated cord supply on hand makes small tie-down and repair jobs easier to handle immediately. Explore more camp accessories.
