Description

The Attwood angled deck fill is designed as part of a carbon-canister fuel system that manages tank breathing and evaporative emissions. Pressure-relief valves built into the cap can vent excess tank pressure while high-flow vacuum valves admit replacement air as fuel is consumed. The angled body helps route the fill hose below deck when a straight drop would interfere with structure or other equipment. Its scalloped cap provides a secure grip for opening and closing during refueling.

The system is engineered to reduce spit-back and well-back by helping the fuel tank fill to the intended level. Attwood also designs the pressure-relief arrangement to keep water from entering the fuel system during normal marine use. The fill works with common marine and portable-can refueling nozzles and is compatible with ethanol-blended gasoline. Automatic nozzle shutoff support and a broad refueling flow range make the fill practical for both OEM and replacement installations. Dual overpressure relief valves in the fill cap are engineered to open above 1 psi, while a high-flow vacuum valve admits replacement air as fuel is consumed. The system supports automatic nozzle shutoff and a stated fill-flow range of 4 to 18 gpm. The assembly is EPA/CARB certified and is compatible with ethanol-blended fuels and both Jerry Can and marine-nozzle refueling.

  • Dual overpressure relief valves are built into the deck-fill cap
  • High-flow vacuum valves replace air as fuel is consumed
  • Angled body simplifies routing in confined spaces
  • Designed and tested to resist water entry into the fuel system
  • EPA/CARB certified for the intended system

Install the fill as part of the complete venting and carbon-canister system rather than as an isolated component. Route and clamp the fill hose so it rises cleanly to the deck fitting without kinks, low spots, or strain on the tank connection.
