Attwood Compact 2-Pack Fuel System Carbon Canister

The Attwood compact carbon canister package is used in marine fuel-vent systems to capture hydrocarbon vapors before they are released to the atmosphere. Engineered charcoal inside the canister absorbs fuel vapor as the tank breathes through normal temperature and level changes. The low-permeation outer shell helps reduce emissions from the canister assembly itself. Two canisters are supplied in the package for OEM or multi-component installations.

Attwood’s system design keeps liquid fuel and water away from the charcoal media so the canister can continue to handle vapor as intended. Supplied brackets allow the canister to be mounted in different orientations, which helps when fuel-system space is limited. The canister is intended to work with pressure-control and deck-fill components that manage tank filling without spit-back or well-back. It is also compatible with ethanol-blended fuels and common marine refueling methods. The supplied pair can be installed in any orientation with the included brackets, and the low-permeation shells are designed to reduce overall system emissions. EPA vessel-capacity ratings are 70 gallons for trailerable boats and 110 gallons for non-trailerable boats. CARB capacity ratings are 56 gallons for trailerable boats and 110 gallons for non-trailerable boats, and the system is compatible with ethanol-blended fuels.
