The Arisaka Defense 3-Piece Scope Leveling Tool Kit is a scope-installation tool designed to help square a scope turret housing to a flat surface on a Picatinny rail or one-piece mount. The kit includes the leveler base plus both the small and large wedges so the tool can cover a wider range of clearance between the mount and turret cluster. The black aluminum pieces are used during scope setup and are removed after the rings are tightened.
The leveler works by sliding a wedge into the angled base until the top of the wedge contacts the underside of the turret cluster and rotates the scope into alignment. The small and large wedges are intended for different available gaps, which is why the combo kit is more flexible than a single-wedge version. It requires a flat surface beneath the turret cluster, so scope and mount geometry should be checked before relying on the tool for a particular setup.
This kit is useful for mounting a scope when the installer wants a repeatable mechanical reference instead of judging reticle level only by eye. It does not replace the ring manufacturer torque procedure, and the wedges should be removed after one ring is secured enough to hold the scope in position.
