The ARCO 12V 65A Premium Replacement Alternator has a 2-inch mounting foot and multi-groove serpentine pulley, internally regulated.
Internally regulated means no separate voltage regulator is needed, which is the difference from the Zeus range sold with terminal blocks. For a straightforward replacement that is the simpler arrangement: the alternator arrives complete and wires as the original did, with nothing else to specify or mount.
The trade is that an internal regulator applies whatever charging profile it was built with. Where a bank has been converted to lithium or a specific profile is wanted, an externally regulated alternator is the one that allows it.
