Description

The Ancor White 8/3 AWG Flat Triplex Cable is a 50-foot length with white, black and green conductors, rated 600V.

Fifty feet of 8 gauge triplex is a short length of a heavy cable, sized for one run rather than stock. A shore power feed from inlet to panel on a smaller boat, or a generator connection, is typically well under 50 feet, and buying the run whole avoids a splice in a main AC feed.

Eight gauge is the heaviest flat triplex made, and the flat profile is doing real work at that size. Three 8 AWG conductors bundled round would need a chase or a boxed run. Flat keeps the same copper against a bulkhead.

White, black and green use Type 3 Class K ultra-flexible stranding that resists vibration and repeated flexing. The outer jacket strips easily while providing abrasion resistance through installation and long service, rated 600V, 105°C dry and 75°C wet. Explore more duplex and triplex cable.

  • 50 feet sized for one heavy AC run
  • Buying whole avoids a splice in a main feed
  • 8 gauge is the heaviest flat triplex made
  • Three round 8 AWG conductors would need a chase
