Ancor 18/2 AWG 100-Foot Spool Flat Duplex Cable

The Ancor 18/2 AWG 100-Foot Flat Duplex Cable is a two-conductor marine wiring option for circuits that call for the smaller 18-gauge conductor size. Its red-and-black conductors are laid out in a flat profile to make the cable easier to route behind panels and through narrow spaces.

Ancor rates the premium vinyl insulation at 600 volts, 105°C in dry locations, and 75°C in wet conditions. The cable is also engineered to stay flexible in extreme cold down to -40°F while resisting salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and UV exposure.

The wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and U.S. Coast Guard charter-boat standards. Before installation, size the 18/2 cable to the actual amperage, circuit distance, and allowed voltage drop rather than substituting it for a larger conductor solely because the routing is convenient.
