Ancor Red 12 AWG 250ft Tinned Copper Wire

The red Ancor 12 AWG wire comes on a 250 ft spool for accessories with higher current draw, like bilge pumps, livewell pumps, and larger lights. Twelve gauge is one of the most-used sizes in boat wiring. Red is the DC positive color under ABYC coding.

Tinned copper stranding keeps corrosion and electrolysis from eating into the conductors. Type 3 ultra-flexible strands make the wire easy to route and help it survive vibration. That is a real advantage over automotive wire on a boat.

Its premium vinyl insulation resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, and UV, and it stays flexible in extreme cold. It is rated 600V, 105°C dry and 75°C wet. It exceeds UL 1426, ABYC, and US Coast Guard charter boat standards. Browse more Marine Wire for black 12 AWG and other gauges.
