Ancor Red 1 AWG 50-Foot Spool Battery Cable

This 1 AWG red Ancor battery cable is a 50 ft spool for engine starting circuits and larger accessory loads on mid-size boats. It sits in the middle of the heavy battery cable range. Red marks it as a positive conductor, which makes troubleshooting easier later.

Tinning each copper strand stops the green corrosion that forms when bare copper meets salt air and moisture. The fine Type 3 strands also resist cracking from engine vibration and the constant flexing a boat sees underway. That keeps resistance low over the life of the installation.

The insulation is Ancor's premium vinyl, rated 600V at 105°C dry and 75°C wet. It holds up to battery acid, fuel, oil, salt water, and sunlight. Browse more Battery Cable for matching negative cable and other sizes.
