Ancor 12-10 AWG 5/16 in Heat Shrink Ring Terminals

Ancor heat-shrink ring terminals are intended for 12-10 AWG wire on a 5/16-inch connection post. This 100-pack is useful for multiple terminations during a wiring refit or new installation. The ring style stays around the stud after the nut is loosened, unlike an open spade connection.

A heat-activated adhesive lines the cross-linked polyolefin sleeve. When installed with appropriate heat, the sleeve shrinks around the wire to help seal out water and reduce strain at the joint. The nylon-insulated tinned-copper terminal is designed for marine conditions where vibration and moisture are regular concerns.

The manufacturer specifies a three-to-one shrink ratio and a shrink temperature of about 257°F (125°C). Ancor also identifies UL listing and CSA recognition for the terminal design.
