AMEC B620W Wi-Fi 2W Class B AIS Transceiver

The AMEC B620W adds built-in Wi-Fi to the 2W Class B AIS transceiver. With Wi-Fi, nearby vessel data shows up on a phone or tablet running a compatible navigation app, even if the boat has no networked chartplotter. Wired outputs are still there too, including NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, and USB.

Inside is the same software-defined radio platform as the rest of the B620 family, with a dual-channel receiver for steady message handling. Position comes from a 72-channel receiver that can use GPS, Galileo, Beidou, or GLONASS satellites. Waterproofing is rated IP68, and the unit has certified protection against electromagnetic interference.
