Allen Hideout Black Ambidextrous Ankle Holster

Allen's Hideout 44255 moves the Hideout concept from the waist to the ankle. The black holster is listed as one size fits most and uses a universal, ambidextrous fit. That makes it a different carry option from the two Hideout belly-band models even though all three share the same product family name.

An ankle holster is worn lower on the leg, so its usefulness depends on footwear, pant cut, and the size of the handgun being carried. The universal format is intended to work with more than one handgun shape rather than molding tightly to a specific model. Because of that, checking retention and comfortable placement with your actual firearm is especially important.

Model 44255 is the Hideout to choose when ankle carry is the goal and a one-size, ambidextrous setup is appropriate. It avoids the waist-size decision required by the M-XL and XL-3XL belly bands. Compare more gun holsters if you want a belt, IWB, OWB, or other carry format instead.
