The Airmar MM-9N is a Mix & Match adapter cable for Simrad XSONIC non-CHIRP equipment. In Airmar's 600 W Mix & Match system, the base transducer uses a short 2 m pigtail with an Airmar 5-pin connector, while the longer brand-specific adapter completes the run to the electronics. This MM-9N version terminates in a 9-pin connector for the supported Simrad setup.

Both the base transducer cable and the adapter are required for a complete installation, but the separate adapter means the transducer can remain installed if the electronics brand is changed later.
