The SOG Seal XR has a 4.3-inch CPM MagnaCut drop point blade with a black glass-reinforced nylon handle and SOG's XR lock.

MagnaCut is a recent American powder steel that answers an old compromise. Most steels trade corrosion resistance against toughness; MagnaCut delivers both alongside strong edge retention, and it has spread quickly through premium knives. The XR lock is a spring-loaded crossbar rather than a liner or frame lock. It works from either side for left or right-handed use, and it lets the blade be closed without fingers crossing its path.
