Birchwood Casey 8 in 1/2 in Round Steel Targets

The Birchwood Casey 8 in 1/2 in Round Steel Targets is a 8 in round plate cut from 1/2 in thick steel. The extra thickness stands up to centerfire rifle and handgun use. A white finish makes the plate easy to see and easy to touch up with spray paint between sessions.

A round plate gives you a simple, clean aiming point for practice and drills. The 8 in size is a good challenge for handguns and a small target for rifles at distance. Painting the face between strings lets you see each new hit clearly.

Common safe practice with steel is to stay at least 10 yards back with handguns and 100 yards back with centerfire rifles. Hang the plate so it angles slightly down, never shoot steel-core or armor-piercing ammunition, and wear eye protection. Stands and hangers for these plates are in our targets and range gear section.
