Scandvik Compact Deck Mount Mixer, 3/8 and 1/2-Inch

The Scandvik Compact Deck Mount Mixer blends hot and cold water before it reaches the outlet. It is sized for tight installs where a full faucet body will not fit. The chrome-plated brass body mounts on top of a deck or counter, and its small footprint leaves room for other fittings nearby.

Compact mixers are useful in small heads, wet bars, and cockpit washdown stations. Blending at the fixture gives comfortable water for rinsing hands, gear, or dishes. Plan the routing of the supply lines before drilling, so they reach without sharp bends that restrict flow. Because it mounts on the surface, it can go where a bulkhead-mounted valve will not fit, and the chrome finish matches most boat hardware. It is a simple way to add warm water to a station that only had cold.

A single 1.25-inch hole is all it needs, and flexible supply lines with 1/2-inch NPS female fittings handle the connections. Flush the lines before connecting so debris from installation does not end up in the valve. Showers and sprayers it can feed are in our faucets, showers & sinks.
