Weaver 1 in Extra High Matte Extension Scope Ring

The Weaver 48449 is a 1 in extra-high extension ring in Weaver’s Top Mount family. It uses a matte finish and is sold as a single ring. The extension shape is the notable feature, giving the ring more fore-or-aft positioning flexibility than a standard centered ring.

The 1 in diameter needs to match the scope tube, while the extra-high position determines how far the optic is held above the base. An extension ring can help when the available mounting points do not line up ideally with the usable straight section of the scope tube. Because only one ring is included, the second ring should be selected to work with the same height and mounting system.

The 48449 is aimed at setups that need both added height and extra positioning range. If the scope can be mounted with a conventional centered ring, a simpler Top Mount option may be the better choice. For other choices to compare with Weaver 48449, browse optics and rangefinders.
