Weaver 1 in Matte See-Thru Top Mount Scope Rings

The Weaver 49523 is a 1 in see-thru Top Mount ring with a matte finish. The see-thru design leaves an open path beneath the optic position, which is the feature that sets this model apart from Weaver’s conventional solid ring arrangements. The 49523 is an individual ring, so a complete two-ring setup requires a matching companion.

The open center can matter on rifles where the user wants to preserve access to the existing sight line beneath the mounted scope. That benefit only applies when the rest of the rifle and optic setup actually lines up with the see-thru opening. The ring still needs to match a 1 in scope tube and a compatible Weaver-style base.

The 49523 is a specialized choice rather than a general replacement for any 1 in ring. If a see-thru arrangement is not part of the plan, a standard Top Mount ring may give a simpler installation. For other choices to compare with Weaver 49523, browse optics and rangefinders.
