Weaver Savage 110 SA 8-40 Extended Multi-Slot Scope Base

The Weaver 99466 extended multi-slot base is the short-action counterpart for the Savage 110 family. It is identified for the 8-40 screw configuration and finished in black. The longer slotted surface offers additional room for ring placement compared with a shorter base.

Short-action fit and the 8-40 screw pattern are the two details that should be checked before this base is selected. Those specifications are more important than the overall appearance because several Weaver Savage bases look similar while fitting different receivers. After the base is matched correctly, the scope’s tube length can determine where the rings are positioned along the available slots.

This model is not the same as the long-action 99465 or the 6-48 long-action 99489. It is the better match only when the rifle uses the Savage 110 short-action, 8-40 configuration described in the listing. For other choices to compare with Weaver 99466, browse optics and rangefinders.
