The Marbles Sowbelly has three mirror-finished D2 blades, clip, sheepsfoot and spey, in a frame that bulges through the middle, with black Micarta scales, nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 3.75 inches.

Three blades in the classic stockman arrangement: the clip takes general cutting, the sheepsfoot makes controlled push cuts against a surface, and the spey's flat edge and blunted tip suit skinning and scraping without puncturing. The sowbelly takes its name from the frame, which bows outward through the middle rather than running straight, filling the palm more completely than a straight-sided pattern.

D2 on a traditional slip joint is unusual, holding a working edge far longer than the stainless normally fitted to pocketknives, and Micarta instead of bone grips harder as hands get damp. Explore more Traditional Knives.
