The Magpul X-22 Backpacker Stock in Flat Dark Earth is the Backpacker stock for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown in a tan color. It is built for hikers, campers, and anglers who want a small-game rifle that packs flat. FDE suits outdoor gear and tan packs. It is a stripped-down version of the Hunter X-22 Takedown. The stock fits all 10/22 Takedown rifles.
Three spare 10-round magazines ride inside a hinged compartment in the stock. A second compartment in the grip holds small items such as a spare battery or earplugs. At 1.625 inches wide, the stock slides into a pack without much bulk. Use the grip compartment for a few cleaning patches or a spare battery for an optic.
The 13.75-inch length of pull fits most adults, and the rubber butt pad keeps it from slipping. It works with Tactical Solutions SB-X barrels as well as factory takedown barrels. Add the Backpacker forend to lock the barrel half to the stock for carry. Optional QD sling mounting is supported. Find the matching FDE Backpacker forend in our gun parts and accessories.
