The Magpul X-22 Backpacker Forend in Flat Dark Earth is the tan forend for the X-22 Backpacker system on the Ruger 10/22 Takedown. It matches the FDE Backpacker stock. With both installed, the rifle breaks down into one locked bundle. It fits all 10/22 Takedown rifles.
The locking interface holds the barrel half against the stock so it does not shift in a pack. It takes factory takedown barrels and aftermarket barrels up to 0.920 inch. The polymer forend is reinforced for strength. The ergonomic handguard shape gives your support hand a secure hold.
Check that your rifle is a takedown model first. Magpul manufactures this forend in the USA. Pair it with the FDE Backpacker stock. It will not fit a standard, non-takedown 10/22. Shop Backpacker parts in our gun parts and accessories.
