The Magpul X-22 Backpacker Stock in black is a compact, minimalist stock for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown. It pares down the full-size Hunter X-22 Takedown for easier storage and transport. It fits all 10/22 Takedown rifles, including those with Tactical Solutions SB-X barrels. It is built for owners who carry the rifle in a pack.
A hinged compartment in the stock holds up to three spare 10-round magazines, and the grip has its own storage compartment. Paired with the X-22 Backpacker forend, a locking interface attaches the barrel assembly to the stock body for transport. The rifle packs into a neat bundle for a backpack. Three spare magazines stored in the stock give a full day of plinking or small-game hunting without a separate pouch.
It has a 13.75-inch length of pull, a 1.625-inch maximum width, and an MOE SL non-slip rubber butt pad. Optional QD sling mounting is supported, and it works with all factory 10/22 magazine capacities. Black suits most optics and gear. Find the Backpacker forend in our gun parts and accessories.
