Shop Sailing Blocks
Sailing blocks guide every sheet, halyard, and control line on the boat, so the right block makes trimming easier and cuts friction across the whole system. This collection brings together single, double, and triple blocks from Harken, Ronstan, Barton Marine, and Wichard. It is part of our full sailing hardware department.
What to Look for in Sailing Blocks
Start with the line diameter and the working load the block will see, since both are listed for every size. Ball bearing blocks spin freely under light and moderate loads, while plain bearing and soft blocks handle heavy, slow-moving loads such as halyards and vang tackles. Ratchet blocks hold part of the load for you, which helps when hand-holding a mainsheet or spinnaker sheet for long periods.
What This Category Covers
You will find swivel, fixed, becket, fiddle, and cam-cleat blocks, along with lead blocks, stanchion blocks, and high-load trolleys. Harken Carbo, Element, and Bullet blocks cover dinghies through cruising boats, and Ronstan Series 40 Orbit blocks give racers a light, compact option. Barton deck organizers and mast base organizers are also here for leading several lines aft to the cockpit.
Complete Your Sailing Blocks Setup
Most blocks attach with a shackle or soft loop, so pair them with hardware from our shackles and hooks collection. Lines that need to be held under load can run to winches and cleats or rope clutches. For deck attachment points, see our pad eyes and U-bolts.
