Description
The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard in Plum is the slim MOE AKM handguard in Magpul's plum color, a reddish tone that matches traditional AK wood and Bulgarian-style plum furniture. It replaces the factory upper and lower handguards on AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 rifles. A matching polymer top cover is included.
At 1.8 inches wide, it is slimmer than many aftermarket AK handguards and keeps the classic AK feel. The heat shield is black oxide stainless steel, and the polymer body is heat resistant. Three M-LOK slots give room for a light or a hand stop without adding a full rail.
Installation uses the factory front retaining cap, and the factory sling loop stays in place. Tolerances vary between AK makers, so some rifles need light fitting. See more plum AK furniture in our gun parts and accessories.
