The Magpul Hunter Lite Stock in black fits Ruger American short-action rifles, both Gen I and Gen II. It weighs about 2.5 pounds and is more than 20 percent lighter and slimmer than the original Hunter stock. That makes the rifle easier to carry on long hunts. It is one of the lightest adjustable stocks made for the Ruger American.
An aluminum V-bedding block with reinforced steel pillars gives a secure action fit. Length of pull and comb height both adjust. It takes AICS-pattern magazines and has an ambidextrous magazine release. An ambidextrous magazine release sits in front of the trigger guard.
Five M-LOK slots on the forend accept accessories, and sling swivel studs are on the forend and buttstock. It is not compatible with Ruger American models that came from the factory with an AR-magazine stock. The light weight makes it a good match for a mountain rifle that will be carried far more than it is fired. Find magazines and sling swivels in our gun parts and accessories.
