Coleman Skydome 6-Person Camping Tent in Evergreen

The Coleman Skydome 6-Person Camping Tent in Evergreen uses pre-attached poles to set up in under five minutes, reducing the amount of assembly needed when arriving at camp. Nearly vertical walls provide 20 percent more headroom than a traditional Coleman dome tent, giving the interior a more usable feel around the sleeping area. The 10 ft x 8 ft 6 in floor and 6 ft center height provide room for up to two queen-size air beds.

Coleman's WeatherTec system uses a tub-like floor, welded corners, and inverted seams to help keep water outside the tent. The frame has been tested to withstand winds up to 35 mph, and the included rainfly adds another layer of weather protection. A wide door makes it easier to move air beds, sleeping bags, and other bulky camping gear in and out. The Evergreen model uses the same weather-protection construction while giving buyers the green color option in the six-person Skydome line.

This Evergreen six-person model also includes mesh storage pockets, a gear loft, and a carry bag to keep small items organized and simplify storage between trips. At about 16 lb, it is best suited to car camping and family or group use rather than weight-sensitive backpacking. Campers comparing tent sizes should consider both the six-person capacity and the extra interior space needed for gear, bedding, and comfortable movement. Explore more camp accessories.
