Wheeler AR Gas Block Taper Pin Removal Tool

Wheeler designed the AR Gas Block Taper Pin Removal Tool to support difficult pin-driving work without balancing the gas block on an improvised surface. The tool includes a support block plus starter and finishing punches for working tapered pins. Its layout is intended for common AR front-sight and gas-block configurations that use taper pins.

A starter punch helps break a stubborn pin free, while the finishing punch can continue the job after the pin begins to move. Supporting the part close to the pin reduces bouncing and gives the hammer strike a more stable working surface. Pin direction still matters, so the firearm should be checked before force is applied.
