The Shakespeare Style 4188-SL Rail Mount Ratchet, built for 1" to 1.5" rails, uses a ratchet-action, fast-release design that lets a boater lay an antenna down quickly whenever needed, whether that's clearing a low bridge, tucking under an awning, or simply reducing windage while docked.

Heavy-duty stainless steel construction handles the antenna's full weight and the constant salt exposure a rail-mounted fitting sees, and a 9/32" hole built into the mount routes cable feed-through cleanly rather than leaving it exposed. This mount handles antennas up to 8 feet, covering the vast majority of Shakespeare's VHF lineup in one purchase.
