Purchased the knives in both red handle and Black and Tan handles. Used one to peel apples and tomatoes. Worked beautifully but put a fine patina on the blade as I forgot to rinse and oil. Not a problem. I have just gotten used to stainless steel. Almost razor sharp out of the packaging.
