Description
The Gerber Principle is a bushcraft-focused fixed blade built around a zero edge Scandinavian grind 420HC blade and a feature set aimed at the serious outdoor user. The 3.25 inch stonewash finish 420HC blade uses a full Scandinavian grind that is easy to sharpen in the field with basic tools and produces a strong, reliable edge well suited to wood processing, feathering, food prep, and general camp work. The 90 degree fire striking spine means the blade doubles as a firestarter with a ferro rod, removing the need to carry a separate striker. Lashing holes in the handle open up options for trap building, spear lashing, and other bushcraft applications.
The coyote brown rubber handle provides a secure grip in wet or cold conditions where synthetic and wood handles can become slippery, and the overall 7.5 inch length gives it enough reach for heavier camp tasks without sacrificing control for detail work. At 9.6 oz it carries with enough substance for hard use. The included black synthetic belt sheath features MOLLE, dropleg, and scout carry options, giving it genuine versatility for military, tactical, and outdoor carry setups. Made in the USA.
Best for: Bushcraft, camping, survival, military field use, or anyone who wants a USA-made Scandinavian grind fixed blade with a fire striking spine and a versatile MOLLE compatible sheath.
