Description

The Gerber Downwind Ulu is a modern take on the traditional ulu blade form, adapted for camp and field use with contemporary materials and full tang construction. The stonewash finish stainless blade follows the curved ulu geometry that excels at rocking cuts, food processing, meat and fish prep, and general camp kitchen tasks where a conventional blade shape is less efficient. At 6.5 inches overall it has enough size to be a genuinely useful working tool while remaining compact enough for pack or belt carry.

The black and gray G10 handle is shaped to fit the ulu grip style comfortably, with enough texture to maintain control during wet or messy cutting work. Full tang construction runs the steel through the full length of the handle for strength and durability under hard use. A lanyard hole adds a retention option, and the included gray waxed canvas belt sheath gives it a carry solution that suits the outdoor aesthetic of the knife. Comes boxed.

Best for: Camp cooking, fish and game processing, backcountry food prep, or anyone who wants a modern full tang ulu with G10 handle and canvas sheath at a practical price.
