EOTECH 518 A65 68/1 MOA QD Holographic Sight

The EOTECH 518 takes the 68 MOA ring and 1 MOA dot reticle and pairs it with side-mounted controls in a black holographic sight. Moving the buttons to the side changes how the optic is accessed when other equipment sits behind it on the rail. A quick-release mount is part of this version, adding faster removal than the fixed-style mounting arrangement found on the 512.

The wide 68 MOA ring is easy to pick up quickly, while the small center dot gives the reticle a defined point for finer alignment. The side controls are particularly useful in a setup where a magnifier or other rear-mounted accessory would make rear buttons less convenient. Its matte black finish keeps the housing understated and consistent with other black rail-mounted equipment.

This model makes sense for a buyer who likes the core 512-style reticle but wants a more flexible control and mounting arrangement. The 518 does not add the night-vision compatibility found on the 558, so its feature set stays focused on the side buttons and quick-release hardware.
