The Nitecore NU43 is a rechargeable headlamp running to 1,400 lumens on turbo, with a 130 meter beam and white and red LEDs.

The runtime spread is what makes this a serious headlamp rather than a bright one. Turbo gives 1,400 lumens for short bursts, but ultralow holds 8 lumens for 165 hours, which is nearly seven days of continuous light. Most work happens at the bottom of that range. High runs 10 hours at 600 lumens and low gives 29 hours at 100, so the battery is matched to the job rather than burned at full output.

The red channel runs constant or slow flashing at 10 lumens, preserving night vision and marking your position without blinding anyone facing you. It is rechargeable on an 18650 cell, water and impact resistant, with an SOS strobe. Explore more headlamps and compact lights.
