Cammenga J582T Land Navigation Tritium Wrist Compass

The Cammenga J582T is a wrist-mounted land-navigation compass made for quick directional checks without having to pull a separate compass from a pocket or pouch. A machined black aluminum case and heavy-duty nylon wristband give it a durable field-oriented setup for hiking, training, and land-navigation work.

Ten-degree phosphorescent graduations are supplemented by tritium micro lights, allowing the dial to remain readable in total darkness without batteries or charging. The tritium illumination is designed to remain useful for more than ten years, making the compass especially practical when dependable night reference matters.

The J582T uses a sapphire jewel bearing and induction damping to stabilize the needle. It is water resistant and rated for operating temperatures from approximately -25°F to 125°F, so the design is intended for a much wider range of field conditions than a basic recreational compass.
